We provide managed accounting services to growth stage companies and are hiring skilled accountants with proven management experience who can lead client service teams and support our expanding business.

We are seeking an Accounting Manager who will act as the accounting advisor and oversight for a number of clients in our portfolio. This role will involve managing and mentoring the senior accountants and staff accountants assigned to those clients, while helping to contribute to overall firm initiatives and strategy.

Weekly and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the teams performing work for your group of clients both weekly and during the monthly close process, including reviewing the work of senior accountants
  • Actively manage and mentor the senior accountants and staff accountants assigned to your clients
  • Review and analyze client financial statements and our underlying work each month before releasing to clients
  • Perform variance analysis on monthly or quarterly financial statements to discuss with clients
  • Track the utilization of employees assigned to your group of clients and address issues timely
  • Monitor monthly realization % on our billings to your group of clients
  • Actively contribute to maintaining accurate books and records for clients in accordance
    with GAAP or other basis of accounting
  • Create and maintain internal processes and controls for our team on each client
  • Provide cash-flow guidance to clients if requested, and ability to generate 12-month
    forecasting when needed
  • Help create and modify existing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each client
  • Prepare and send weekly dashboards out to client management and owners
  • Participate in internal projects such as implementing the new ASC 842 Lease Standard, standardizing our client charts of accounts, mentoring our employees to grow their professional skills etc.

Technical and Soft Skills:

  • Software: Must have experience working with QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor), Bill.com, Google Suite, and Advanced MS Excel; helpful to be familiar with other software such as Slack, ClickUp and Expensify;
  • Minimum of 8 years accounting experience with prior public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA and management experience required
  • Solid grasp of GAAP accounting including month-end close process
  • Familiar with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition standard and ASC 842 Lease Standard
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries;
  • Excellent collaboration skills in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to distill important insights
    and communicate to clients in a clear, concise and personal manner

Compensation and Benefits:

Quadrant Advisory is committed to offering our employees a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. For the role of Senior Associate, the salary range is $85,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to this competitive base salary, we are proud to offer robust benefits offering and well above industry average bonus structure.
