As a Senior Associate, you will be the primary accounting advisor and lead point of contact for a diverse range of clients within our portfolio. Additionally, you will manage and mentor junior staff accountants and contribute to the firm’s positive culture.
We are targeting entrepreneurial accountants eager to engage in various projects across different sectors, including government relations, digital media, public relations, tech startups, and other professional service firms. - Act as the main client-lead across a diverse client portfolio.
- Oversee and supervise staff accountants in their responsibilities.
- Manage the month-end closing of books for clients.
- Prepare, review, analyze, and discuss financial statements.
- Oversee accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and accounts payable.
- Maintain accurate General Ledger and accounting schedules.
- Establish and uphold internal processes and controls.
- Track and help create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze trends and variances to identify discrepancies.
- Assist clients with budget creation.
Technical and Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor), Bill.com, Expensify, Google Suite, and advanced MS Excel; familiarity with Slack, Sharefile is advantageous.
- NetSuite experience is beneficial.
- A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with a preference for those with prior public accounting experience.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and the month-end close process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey important insights in a clear and personal manner to clients.
- Independent worker with the capability to also collaborate within a dynamic remote team environment.
- Must exhibit integrity, a strong work ethic, and a self-starter attitude.
Compensation and Benefits:
Quadrant Advisory is committed to offering our employees a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. For the role of Senior Associate, the salary range is $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to this competitive base salary, we are proud to offer robust benefits offering and well above industry average bonus structure.
